RoboForm for Chrome comes in two incarnations:
* 1-button extension,
* Full RoboForm toolbar.

Chrome / Chromium 1-button Extension

RoboForm extension needs Chrome ver 4. Chromium is OK too. Earlier Chrome ver 3 does not support extensions.

IMPORTANT: after install you must navigate to another page (any page) for extension to become active.

Overview. RoboForm Extension is one button next to Address bar.
Using it you can save login form data (or any form that you filled) to Passcard.
Then later you can fill login forms (or any other form) from saved Passcard.
Passcards are encrypted files stored on RoboForm Online server.
We use Master Password as a key to encrypt Passcards stored on server.
Master Password is not stored on server, only you know it, so your data is secure.
You will be asked to create Master Password when you use RoboForm for the first time.
You also need RoboForm Online UserID and Password to gain access to RoboForm Online server.

For Existing RoboForm Users.
1-button extension does not perform automatic login and auto-save.
So to use it:
- Go to the website you would like to log in to.
- Click the RoboForm extension icon.
- In the dialog that appears select Fill Login tab to fill from existing passcards.
- Select Save Login tab to save new passcard from the login form.

RoboForm for Chromium

Full RoboForm Toolbar for Chromium

Starting with version 6.9.98, RoboForm works with Chromium browser. Chromium has virtually identical features to Google Chrome, but has a slightly different logo *.

We have created a special custom build of Chromium which includes an adapter that allows RoboForm to work as a toolbar on Chromium. RoboForm is bundled with Chromium ver 4.0.267.0.

Full extension that is separate from Chromium is coming up shortly, once all integration issues are resolved.

This is a stable alpha version created for testing and feedback purposes. We encourage you to send us any comments/bug reports via our online support system. Check this page often as we are actively developing and will release updates frequently.

Installation instructions.

1. Install RoboForm version 6.9.98 or later from Downloads page
2. Uninstall previous versions of Chromium.
3. Install the Chromium + RoboForm Adapter build: RoboFormForChromium.exe.
4. Run Chromium from the Desktop or Start Menu icon.

Please Note:

• The RoboForm toolbar will only attach to the bottom of the browser.
• If you closed the Roboform toolbar, right-click RoboForm systray icon and select Show Toolbar.
