The Password Paradox

The Password Paradox states that most security professionals try to increase the security of their enterprise applications with more and more passwords. The problem is that with too many passwords users can't remember them all, and they end up calling up the help desk, which drains productivity, or writing them down in an insecure manner. After a point systems will end up being less secure.
